On the 12th of June, 2017, the students from grade eight to eleven were called down to the College Grounds and were lined up before the pavilion. the event was a dengue prevention programme – not to educate – but to clean the school. The students were assigned parts of the school according to their grade and were sent out with several members of the army, who had organised this event. This event stretched on from the second period until the beginning of the seventh period. The children worked hard to rid the school of the dengue menace, cleaning drains, removing water collecting areas and finally stumbled lazily back to their classes after it was all over at the end of the day.
